Sage 100 v2016, PU2: Anyone getting ""The 1099 Electronic Consent Signed is required."" - I've done two upgrades to 2016 - both had this error occur. The latest 4.4 to 2016 PU2 and it came up on 00-NOF (the Not on File Vendor). I believe I've had that at least once.

It's weird because two back to back upgrades had it. Pretty sure I've seen it previously too.

Thanks. Wonder if this crept in with PU2. And it seems really sporadic like it's not impacting every vendor. Either that or it only impacts vendors flagged to receive 1099.

In my case, it affected every vendor.

I believe it happens only for upgrades from much older versions (4.4 or lower).

Sage said this is on their wish list of things to fix. What a crock of shit.

I just got it on a 2014 to 2016 UG - 8,000+ vendors. Easy to fix with a VI job but really it's very embarrassing that this type of bug lingers

Running a 2014 Standard to 2016 Premium migration today and the 1099 field initialized to ""N"" automatically.

The specific field is ElectronicConsentSigned1099$ field in AP_Vendor.m4t . When the field is blank the EU can try to edit the vendor but won't be able to save it without getting the Electronic Consent warning.
