Sage 100 v2016 - Client's domain server acted up last night (not exactly sure what happened) but they were able to restore it. NOW users are unable to access certain folders under the \v2016\MAS90 folder on a different server. When you click on the folder, message pops that they don't have the proper rights. If they click on a folder beginning with ""L"" or higher, the folder opens without issue. Has anyone seen this and if so, what was the resolution? TIA

Alternatively, inform them that from this day on all folders must start with L or higher. Tell them it's a new 100c feature.

Is this an Advanced install and did they startup the service with a domain admin account which has rights to see other servers?

Not advanced yet. That was my next upgrade now that they have 100c.

What a PITA (but then again, I am thankful that I don't have IBN's issues). Still trying to figure it out. Some folders are accessible, others are blocked. It is like the index for rights are hosed. It appears there is limited success resetting the permissions for the child objects. Also very frustrating when your limited knowledge of Windows may even exceed that of their full time IT person.

Active directory appears to have gotten hosed as no folders/files have any user permissions assigned. Have attempted to EVERYONE with full control but that seems to be hit or miss. Is there a command line that could be used to grant permissions to MAS90 folder? I installed to a local workstation and was able to copy the MAS_XXX folder over but would really like to get the other folders copied as well. Thoughts? TIA
