Sage 100 v2016 - anyone have a scoop on whether this is still targeted for October release?

It did. I'm pretty sure Mike Ritchie has said at Summit that October meant by November 5.

That is the million $ question of the day.

They printed 10/21 on the slide. I expect it then.

As of today, Sage employee is saying 10/28 now. The reversal on the PR timetable pushed it back a week. I also wonder how quickly the Avalara enhancement will be ready. I have a new basic install in a couple of weeks and would prefer to only have to do it once.

I heard from D. Coffman that Direct Deposit 2.0 would be backward compatible to 2015 but probably nothing before that. And it would not be available for 2015 until a subsequent PU is released.

We have a user group scheduled for 10/15 and I'm still not sure if Sage is releasing 2016 this month or not? is there anything ""Public"" that we can share with our clients at this time? I've looked on Sage partner site and as usual I can't find much there, but I tend to get lost if I'm not looking for something support related. Does anyone have anything that is deemed public at this point? I found a release date of October 2015 listed in the supported versions web page on the portal. if Sage is releasing it this month as they seem to indicate then shouldn't there be something available for resellers by now?

I posted last week that release is now 10/28 (pushed back due to the PR fiasco). There is no VIP program this year, no earlier release to the partners and apparently the MD's are behind the curve ball also. I asked whether Avalara was going to be ready as I have a new client install later this quarter and Avalara is a factor with them.

Since they showed the new Launcher to end users at Summit, I would think that's fair game.
