Sage 100 v2013 standard, wandering if anyone else had issue or tried installing multiple workstations on one computer? I have several copies of data I am working on converting custom reports and when I try to install a new workstation for that client data it does not ask me to maintain or create a new installation. I did a work around by creating a shortcut to the data which worked, but thought it was odd. I am running Win 7 business edition. Did I miss something?

I know you can only install one copy on the server so this might be related to the single install limit. Why not set up multiple companies within the same install? different UDF's? Do you mean Win 7 PRO? Wasn't aware there was a business edition.

Sorry it is Win 7 Ultimate. I am subcontracting so trying to keep the data all together so I can give it back the same way I got it.

Kelly, I am faced with the same issue - keeping client installations separate because of the new install method used by SAGE 100 ERP v2013. What I did was take an extra Windows 7 Pro desktop computer and installed the free Oracle VirtualBox software. Then I created 5 Windows 7 Pro virtual machines on that one physical computer. Now I have 5 separate computers to install SAGE 100 and client data on and it should not get ""mixed together"". It took me a little while to learn all the details of VirtualBox - but it was not too bad. I understand that VWare has a similar virtual workstation software. Maybe you could find one of your techie friends to set up a stand alone WM computer to help you with future client projects.

I will look at that, thanks @MichaelMcDonald. What's one more computer around my house, have several now with different op systems in case I need to support that version. As long as hubby has a good one he doesn't care. LOL

It's true you are only allowed one Sage 100 installation, however, that does not prevent you from having more than on MAS90 folder. I simply install Sage 100 once, then copy the MAS90 to another location and manually change the shortcut to match the new location. If I need to install updates, etc., I simply move the MAS90 folder back to the original location by juggling folder names. I haven't come across any problem, so far.

Bill's suggestion works as long as you don't have to write crystal reports from the other system :-)

@PatrickAnson - What is the issue there?
