Sage 100 v 2016 Advanced One workstation (Win 7 SP1 64-bit) clicks the Sage icon, processes the flash screen, able to enter the user code and password and then....nothing. Under task manager pvxwin32 is running. Checked permissions on directories, run as admin, etc. Finally ran a complete uninstall, reboot and reinstall to a different directory, & removed the old wsktn directory. Rebooted the server too. Works great under my profile on the workstation, but under user's still repeats the flash, log in and nothing, leaving a running pvxwin32. It is not minimized, using Classic theme, single monitor.

Did you run it as admin?

Yes, it was installed with right click run as admin and the properties are set to run as admin too.

    There's this. Maybe rename SY_Console and SY_Workstation? https://support.na.sage.com/selfservice/viewdocument.do?noCount=true&externalId=19199&sliceId=1&isLoadPublishedVer=&docType=kc&docTypeID=DT_Article&stateId=9889&cmd=displayKC&dialogID=400247&ViewedDocsListHelper=com.kanisa.apps.common.BaseViewedDocsListHelperImpl&openedFromSearchResults=true

Thanks @ThereseLogeais I looked at that yesterday but hesitated since Sage runs on this workstation under my profile and there aren't any others users reporting an issue. I guess when all else fails...perhaps its the best last resort.

IT has decided that user's Windows profile is corrupt and is building a new one, we'll see it that fixes it.

Could be bad Standard settings files. Delete the Sage 100 folder from the user's My Documents...

Thanks @KevinMoyes - wish I tried that just to see if it worked. IT was to set up a new profile, I haven't heard from the customer so I guess it worked.
