SAGE 100 US Payroll Subscription cancellation. Has anyone helped a client/customer cancel their annual SAGE 100 Payroll Subscription? I believe that the terms of the subscription calls for a 30 day notice of cancellation. Is there an official cancellation form that needs to be faxed? Is there a department at SAGE that handles the cancellations? Thanks for any advice.

I was just sent this form to generally make changes. We are cancelling the SI bundle for a customer, and this is what Sage sent. I was not aware of a 30-day notice. I thought originally with subscriptions, it could be processed immediately. The problem right now with all these agreements is there is not enough legalese and terms are unclear. They defer to the EULA, but that is too general.

The form is sent back to salesadvisor@sage.com, so they are the ones who handle this type of thing. For some of us, we previously had a dedicated Sales Advisor. We still do in Atlanta, but she tells us to always send to the salesadvisor@sage.com address.

As for the payment terms, during this last round of C line conversions, many customers told Sage they will not provide credit cards or ACH data, but will write checks when required. Sage has yielded to this without an argument. They need to realize that non-profits and companies that are part of large public corporations will not pay this way.

FYI...We did send in one modification request form for a PR Sub to be cancelled the same day that their PR sub monthly plan was to expire and it was terminated in time for them not to get charged for that next month. We sent it to our sales advisor who then forwards everything to businesscare.mme@sage.com to get processed.
