    Good afternoon everyone:

After 5 requests to try and get information from TruCommerce about a client upgrade, they informed me that they are compatible with all supported versions of Sage, including v 2020, there is nothing to install and it should work after we upgrade Sage and to just call support if we run into any issues.

I just wanted to ask if anyone else has worked with them on an upgrade in the last year or so and if this information is correct.

Just have no confidence in the situation.

    Thanks,

    Pam

I think they are correct.  I assume you are using their transaction manager or what ever it is called.  That is BOI driven using the UDF that should all port over.  When my client went from 2016 to 2017, it took maybe an hour to switch things over.  You might budget more than an hour but I think they are correct.  The question might be to ask about how they are handling the increased address length....

From my experience they are correct, to a point.  If you have workstations that do any interacting, you'll need to update those.  It's pretty straight forward.  And, if needed support is usually pretty good from TC.  The issue will simply be timing and gauge how vital the EDI is for the  customer.  I always plan for a little downtime, and then manage accordingly. You'll need to likely change the pointer in True Commerce too. All of this is assuming they are using the SAAS version and not the older on premise version.  Good luck.
