    On Friday I upgraded a client from SAGE 100 STD v2017 to SAGE 100 STD v2019 PU#4 (6.10.4.0 & PR 2.21.0.0). I also upgraded the two DSD Extended Sol for Union Automation & Time Track Integration to Union Automation. The upgrade went very smoothly with no visible error messages. All of the functions in Payroll module related to the enhancements appear in the updated version (v2019). However, when I access Crystal Reports to modify a standard SAGE 100 report, I cannont "see" the added tables to the ODBC - DSN that should be there from the DSD Extended Sol. It's like the Data Dictionaries (legacy name) were not updated to the Data Tables in the business framework.  I know I am not using the correct terminology. Anyone know of a secret utility to force an ODBC/Data Tables update after all software has been installed, migrated and converted?

    You can force an update by making a faux change to a UDF (such as a minor change to a field description or caption). That will enable the Update button in UDF Field and Table Maintenance.

    @Dan Burleson I did what you suggested, and it looks like the tables update was automatically launched. However, when I went into one of my Custom Crystal Reports in Payroll v2019 (PR 2.21) (updated from legacy v2017 (5.40)) the fields and tables were not there. I have not done this in a long time, but I believe at least for my Custom Crystal Reports I need to perform the "Set Datasource Location" and then re-map some of my data fields from the legacy table name to the framework table/field name. Do you have any type of instructions on how to do this properly?  Thank you already for your help - I think I'm headed in the right direction.    ​

    Sometimes the "new" fields don't appear in Crystal Reports until yo run Database, Verify Database.

No, I did not run mascrcw.exe and Doug, I did Verify Database.  However, I believe I have found my short-term answer, via UDF added to the PayrollDataEntryAuditWrk file. Hopefully, the payroll clerk and I can get this system working. There are many members (employees) of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters who expect to get paid before Christmas! (I wonder if they know where i live?). I will update later today! Thank you, Thank you, and God bless everyone!  ​​​

    I was able to add the two needed data fields from the DSD Extended Sols into the PayrollDataEntryAuditWrk table by creating two UDFs.  I also started creating a modified Payroll Data Entry Audit Report in PR 2.21 (because it's business framework) to replace the custom Crystal Report I had in legacy payroll.  @Jeff Schwenk I don't think running mascrcw.exe would have ever converted my legacy custom Crystal Reports into PR 2.21. I will need some advanced Crystal Reports help to suppress the Report Total sections in my modified Payroll Data Entry Audit Report in PR 2.21. I will start another thread in the regular support community. @Robert Wood this thread can be closed.​
