Sage 100 update release schedule and compatibility matrix

  • 1.  Sage 100 update release schedule and compatibility matrix

    I must be having a senior moment.  Was hunting in the knowledgebase for the current update release schedule and the current compatibility matrix and I can't seem find it no matter what key words I use to search with.

    Can anyone help me out as to what keys words to use or did they stop publishing these?

    There is a link within the launcher's home page to get at things like the compatibility matrices.

    Search for Supported Versions and you get this... which is what we usually send to clients about such questions.

    OK.  Found the supported platform matrices, but the only thing I found on release schedules is only through the end of December 2023.  

    I guessing the next round of updates will go out in April if they follow the typical schedule.  I'm trying to give a client an expectation of timing of a bug fix we identified and communicated to Sage.  Sage tech had suggested that it would be in the next update.

    Bug had to do with back order fill reports in excluding partially filled orders.  Essentially the system was marking the item completed even if only 10 of 20 items had been received.

    I login to support1.na.sage.com, then click on My Downloads, Sage 100. Then I click on Sage 100: Download Portal. The SPMs and ISCMs are there.

    Sage has not publicly provided an exact new release date for the past few years. I generally tell customers to expect an annual release around April of each year,  subject to change. I believe Sage discloses exact release dates to those on the product advisory or BPAC groups. In some cases, as the date gets closer, you might see an exact date listed in a KB article that mentions a pending solution to open issues.

    @Thomas Rogers - If they have a fix for the issue now, just ask for prerelease of it.  Sign the waivers and they will send the fix.  I can't tell from your earlier posts if this was a possibility.

    At the end of today's Round Table Discussion, they said the release date is April 19, 2024 for v2024.

    Thank you.  That's about what I was expecting.

     

    I assume updates for prior versions will probably come out about then as well.
