    Sage 100 Task Scheduler in Premium version is stating that the job is in use before it even attempts to run on the task scheduler Log. I have opened a ticket with Sage but they can't determine the cause. Restarted the service, rebooted the server, checked for crystal lock files, checked no stranded records in transaction entry, restart files, deleted task scheduler job and created a new one, made sure user and passwords correct. It was working for about a week, then stopped. Any ideas what could cause something like this?

    check printers - what is the default printer set to for the user running the task. Have you logged on into windows as that user? If someone is remoting into the server that is also passing the sage pdf printer this might be conflicting. I guess need to know what the scheduled task is that you want to do.

    Found the resolution to this. When deleting the task scheduler job, the system is not deleting the task scheduler detail file, leaving detail files that have no header records. Clearing both detail and header files and setting it up again with a user that does not have the ""prompt for company code"" checked in user maintenance did the trick.
