    Sage 100 Support options have changed. The ""other technical issues"" i.e., tools department, has moved to option 5. Option 4 is now Sage 100c Manufacturing. 1. AR, AP, Distribution, Manufacturing 2. GL, PR, Financial Reporting 3. Installing, Upgrading, Registering 4. Sage 100c Manufacturing 5. Other Technical issues

    No matter what option I push it's always the wrong one. Installing GL? Upgrading GL? Poor WO, BM, relegated to other

    My mistake. They have manufacturing in #1. I'll edit my original note.

    Why have any option for Sage Manufacturing? No one at Sage knows that, even if they have been trained. All support is supposed to go through Synergistic, JobOps Solution Providers or certified JobOps Consultants.

    Maybe option 4 live transfers to Synergistic. Though my guess is that it goes to a live person who then transfers.

    In the past Sage support would immediately tell customers they could not assist when a third party app such as this was installed. Now that it is on the price list, they will probably pretend to help before the transfer. As many have stated in these discussions, nothing has really changed, so why act like it has.

    in order to call Synergistic you need to be certified so I wonder if and how that will change from customers calling in?

    I doubt a lot of this has been addressed in any detail. Sage and Synergistic were more eager to sign the sales deal. It's those details that are figured out later that can unravel this.
