    Sage 100 Std v5.2.3 BOM - Require bill revision is NOT turned on, but Enable engineering control is. Could the engineering control cause issues when trying to use the COPY FROM to not copy exactly line and quantities and now get a message that ""The component revision is required""?

    Doing some more searching looks like the ""Copy From"" has been an issue since v5.0 - has anyone seen a resolution?

    This bug was reported in v2013 and v2014 and is now officially reported in v2015. Opened a case and was able to prove it to Sage tech. The problem appears when a component does not have the * in revision set in billdetail line 6 I believe in DFDM. So work around is to add that * on any component that has that field blank or wait on fix. Good example attached
