Sage 100 Std v4.5.6 with Multi-Bin (ACS Group). Just received a report from a user that the RMA active is not generating an SO when the RMA is processed. I was able to generate one in my vanilla version (no Multi-bin) so I am suspecting that the issue with with the ACS programs. Has anyone else encountered this? Will be making the call tomorrow.

Yes - nearly same Sage 100 4.5.2 with Multi-Bin and I just noticed it today that the Sales Orders that should generate for customer action replacement only generates the credit memo to scrap/stock. Looking forward to what you learn from ACS.

Email Ron Chompf. You'll probably get a quicker response.

From Ron, Let's make sure our pu5 was installed after the MAS pu5. The install steps include the following. If the Prepare data button wasn't done then their system is unstable. -Select ACS Group Product Registration from the Library Master Setup menu. Click the Prepare Data button. All button checks all companies, One button checks the company you are in. -Run the Custom Office Utilities Update Custom Panels to Current Level. After doing this then make sure Custom office is not affecting processing by temporarily renaming the SO/Custom directory to something else.

An update - Client requested that the Customer PO field be a mandatory field in SO entry. Ron is claiming that is the reason why the SO does not autogenerate now in RMA processing. Will be testing that tonight by removing the mandatory flag for the field. Ron also suggested ""Consider auto filling in the PO number field from RMA. I think I heard of resellers doing that. Or change the validation to be for non RMA transactions"" I am not sure how I would do either one. Any thoughts?

I tested it, my client has PO and the FOB fields required. No Sales order generated, only credit memo. Do note, that the Next Sales Order Number in generate transaction increments up one. Tested it three times and after each generation and print, the next sales order number changes by one. I think it's something other than required fields.

Yes, that is what I mean. However, I accessed the table and deleted the advanced setting. I did not physically change the 00 to 01. I just tested this with the client. When we removed the requirement of customer PO on the SO header panel, the SO generated as desired. So for us, that WAS the problem...... Now to think of a work around .....

Xpress Sales Order as a work around?
