SAGE 100 Std v2017c PU#3 client with 2500+ inventory items. - Anyone found a method or a 3rd party enhancement to ""search and replace"" a string of characters in the Item Description or Extended Description fields? Legacy descriptions included a lot of cryptic abbreviations, client would like to expand the Item Description to include more English like descriptions.

Seems like VI exporting item & descriptions to excel for the search/replace - then VI import the new descriptions might do that.

Thanks @LeeGraham for the suggestion. Was hoping there would be a more client DIY solution.
