Michael - If it's important enough, and you're willing to go there, after making a backup of Sy_Menu.m4t you could potentially DFDM edit/move your Custom Reports menu record to the P/R Main menu. Review in Sy_Menu how the existing tasks are laid out for the Payroll Main menu. You'll see the 3 Parent fields represent the Main submenu, and the Position$ represents the sequence/order. It looks like you have an available Position$ before the Pre-Check Register and the Labor Distribution Report. Or you could increment the Position$ of the Check Register/Update so you could edit your Custom Reports record to go right between Check Printing and Check Register/Update. After you make changes, run Sy_Menu_UI then close it again just to force a menu refresh (you could also change the menu name while there to PLEASE PRINT THIS BEFORE Check Register)
It's certainly tedious doing it this way (for M/Ds there is a utility for this purpose) and if you choose not to, that is fine. Also, I don't know what happens to your menu record if you reinstall P/R or install the next version of the P/R.
