Sage 100 Std v2016 - 64 bit ODBC client - What is the SOP for installing the 64 bit client. Having never done one, I thought it would be as easy as install the workstation client, then installing the 64 ODBC. However, when I do that, I get the message below. Does the install DVD install a folder on the server which you have to launch the workstation install from? Thanks in advance.

They claim fixed in PU2 but probably lying - https://goo.gl/IOw7Pf

Thanks It appears they did. The secret sauce (besides having PU2 installed) is looking in the right spot for the driver. It is under the WKSETUP folder, under Prerequisites. You cannot launch it from the install DVD.

I just did a 64-bit ODBC install for customer with Sage 100c Advanced, PU1 without an issue. I wonder if this is because it was ""C""?

Maybe it was that it was advanced.... But then again, maybe you didn't PU2. I didn't realize there was a folder under the wksetup folder to pull from.
