Sage 100 Std Upgrade from v4.3 to v2015.
Before I go to far down the rabbit hole, I just want to validate my thoughts. Client is still using v4.3 for production, V2015 is being tested. Go live soon I hope. Client wants to add some UDF's to ease their pain. Question is - Do I just add to the v2015 test version?
The way I typically do my upgrades to do the initial migration of all files. Convert files in v2015. Test, get approval. My second conversion ONLY copying the company data MAS_XXX folders. NOTHING else
My question is if I add the UDF's only to the v2015 version, then copy the data files and convert, will my v2015 only UDF be created when I update the UDF's?
I am thinking (hoping) that they will.
