    Sage 100 Std PU 4 - Trying to add a UDF to the ship to address panel in AR customer master. The name of the UDF in the ship to table matches one in the AR customer table. This has been SOP of mine for years as it is the same information that is dependent whether the order is shipped to a branch or not. Anyway, now I am getting a message stating that UDF exists on the main panel. If i want it on the ship to address panel, I have to remove it from the main. This USED to work. Perhaps a short sighted WAD now??

    As long as the UDFs have different names between the AR and SO tables it seems to work. I had similar problems in v2014

    Jeff, wouldn't the UDF on the main panel be added to AR_Customer table and the one on the Ship to screen be in the SO_ShipToAddress table and sourced from the one in the customer master?

    That is what I am thinking also. I think the ones that I set up previously were v45 or prior.

    No, not all the time. Prime example is UPS account numbers. The main account (AR) has a different UPS account number than the ship to location. I set the field up in both tables and pull the information into the SO header. If no ship to location is specified, the AR customer UDF is used. If a ship to is specified, the SHIP UDF is pulled through.
