Sage 100

I have a SAGE 100 Std v2017 PU#5 client that has a 12 user license.  Almost every evening 5 to 8 of those users fail to exit completely out of SAGE 100 and do not log off their computer.

Most are idling at the SAGE Launcher screen, but sometimes one or more will have the Customer Maintenance screen and/or the Vendor Maintenance screen minimized when they walk out the door.  We have not experienced data corruption in the SAGE files.

But I wonder if those open data files are NOT being backed up each night.  Now that some of the employees are accessing remotely, is the risk of data corruption greater? Is it time to turn on the auto sign off feature in Library Master?

I know backups are a lot more sophisticated than they used to be, but I also remember a client who had a power surge (they were right by a power substation) that corrupted everything and the backup we had was missing all of the AR files accessed when one is in Customer Maintenance - because a sales guy left his screen open the night before.
