    Sage 100 Std 4.5 PU5 - The client ran Item Delete/Change utility. Seemed to complete without error, per the user who ran it, but since it completed, she tried to enter a new item; it won't accept a new item code - blanks the field. I found a blank, first record in CI_Item. There is also a CI_ChangeEntityWork temp file present, indicating the process didn't complete normally. I removed the blank record and they're able to enter items again, but this is not the first time this has happened to them. Anyone run into this?

    Yes. Look at CI_Item for blank record (usually first record). Had this happen to customer last week (on v5). It's inconsistent though, as customer has merged since without issue.
