Sage 100 Std. 4.4 - We have created a UDF in Sales Order Entry Header, pushed it into Invoice Entry Header, invoice work and invoice history. The udf has been added to the crystal so invoice form and prints when the form is printed from so invoice entry but not when printed from invoice history reprint!? The udf is populated in the invoice history file, it appears on the invoice inquiry screen and the field exists in the crystal form in the invoice work table but will not print any data when the invoice is printed or previewed. Any ideas where I went wrong?

When you chose the Data Source for the UDF in the WORK FILE, did you pick both SO_InvoicePrinting AND AR_InvoiceHIstoryPrinting?

There's an Invoice History work file you might have missed.

Another option is to join the AR_InvoiceHistoryHeader to the work file.

I try to avoid tying to AR Invoice History Header because the file is usually large. It is preferable to follow Lee's suggestion.

If the UDF is flowing through to the Invoice History Header, you can add it to the Invoice Printing Work file in Custom Office. You have to go into the UDF in the work file and check the box for AR_InvoiceHistoryPrinting_rpt too. By default it only selects one Business Object.

Once again, I have to thank @JeffSchwenk for teaching me about those multiple business objects, which have since come in SO handy!

@BethBowers - I thought my ears were burning...... If being in the group means only one of us has to attend the school of hard knocks (AKA Sage U), then it is all worthwhile. It wouldn't be Sage if everything didn't have at LEAST one gotcha. Pay it forward!
