Sage 100 Standard, V4.5 sp 7 on Win 8 machine. New wkst install. Worked ok, then reboot post install. Now all tasks generate: The object AR_CUSTOMER_UI does not exist. or The object AP_INVOICE_UI does not exist. (changes but true for all tasks) for Reports like Company Listing we get Error #88: Invalid/unknown property name: SY_CompanyListing_rpt. So, other than changing the date or using the LM Utilities, you cannot open any menu items in Sage 100. All users at 1 workstation. Other workstation is fine. Any ideas?

try running the customizer update utilities - and go to UDF's AR_Customer and update those as well if there are any UDF's tied to the customer.

In my experience those random ""does not exist"" messages have been linked to security. Try turning UAC off and reinstalling the workstation or make sure that the network profile has enough rights to the MAS90 folders...

I did turn UAC off. Also, no UDF'S. Will attempt to rebuild. Thanks, any other ideas?

Run Autorun.exe AS ADMINISTRATOR and choose Wkstn Install from there. I had this just Wednesday - same thing, happened after a reboot.

Have you tried right-clicking the shortcut and selecting Run As Administrator? Can you rename files in the program and data folders on the server from the Win 8 workstation? There isn't a Home version of Win 8, is there? I think we are assuming that other workstations are not getting these errors, right? Does DFDM work on the Win 8 machine?

I would uninstall, be sure UAC is turned off and reboot. Then disable the AV and then reinstall using the ""Run as administrator"" option. I had something similar not too long age.

I just finished dealing with this version wkstn setup and Windows 7 OS. Added the following notes to my 450 reference worksheet: Windows 7 Applications- Workstation setup installs the crpe32.dll to the wrong location and needs to be physically moved on each workstation after client setup (workstation setup) Copy the cpre32.dll from C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\Bin And Paste crpe32.dll into the C:\WINDOWS\system32 (or if applicable on 64 bit OS to the C:\Windows/SysWow64) Since I did the UAC dance, uninstall prior workstation, re-run workstation, acting like the admin 'run as adminstrator' scene + uninstall and reinstall Crystal,,, you may just want to try this resolution first. And hopefully then you too can say, ""OMG! Are you freakin' kiddin' me? Really? How stupid!"" ;)

Rerun as Admin did the trick. Thanks all!
