Sage 100 Standard Supported Platform Matrix for v2013. If you don't look look closely, you read the section on supported servers (p.2) and don't see the Windows Small Business Servers listed. Going through due diligence with a client in preparation for their upgrade to make sure their environment is supported. They have WinServer 2008 SB. Doesn't show on the supported list. Not supported, right? I stop looking at the end of p. 2 and tell client their server is not supported. Can you say ""Oops?"". Client gets verification from Sage that they made a mistake in the SPM, and that their server is indeed supported (although not recommended). Page 3 has them listed in a section labeled ""Supported Workstations"". So now, in addition to serving as the unpaid Sage QA department, we now serve as the unpaid Tech Writing QA department. Note: this mistake is in both the March 23, 2013 and December 14, 2012 versions. In case this catches you off-guard, as well.

I actually wish Sage would mark SBS as unsupported. It breaks a whole bunch of M$'s own best practices and is designed for businesses that are too cheap to do it right. And I am no longer kidding about 90 Minds billing Sage for QA work...

It's supported but a very bad idea. If they do it and its slow, the problem will be SBS related.

For some reason Sage's supported platforms seems like it's updated at a very slow pace and even then there are omissions. One constant battle is that the IT staff want to purchase / implement one thing (usually because it's what they know or fits with their standard plan for the infrastructure) and Sage may recommend another. Can be a battle.
