Hello,
We have a Sage 100 2020 Advanced system running on a virtual Windows Server 2019 box, where performance suddenly and considerably degraded after what's thought to be a Windows update.
System became very sluggish. It is especially noticeable in lookups. While Customer lookup (~ 85.5K records) used to take around 7 seconds to populate the entire list, not takes 37-40 seconds, Sales Order History lookup (~179K records) used to take around 35 seconds, now takes ~3.5 minutes, Inventory lookup (~43K records) used to take around 5-6 seconds, now takes 35-37 seconds. Measurements were taken on the server itself, so network is out of the picture. Opening any program (any maintenance screen, entry program, etc) was an instantaneous thing, now it takes 1-3 seconds. There are no customizations. A ticket was opened with Sage and all Sage's recommendations were followed, including file rebuilding, having a physical local or network printer on that server as a default, antivirus turned completely off, etc, etc. Nothing worked. Server specs are far beyond of Sage's minimum recommended. Virtual machine was moved from one Hyper-V physical server onto another. No change. Workstation on the server was uninstalled and reinstalled (using unc path).
Does anyone experienced similar situation? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Andy
