Sage 100 Premium 2016 Cant Make Copy Company over 15.5 GB I was trying to make a Copy Company and getting all kinds of errors along the lines of work files missing in various modules Example: AR_DailyPostingWork missing. But they were not actually missing. It appears that there is a file size limit built into the Sage code where above approx 15.5 GB, Sage 100 Prm will produce random missing file errors and prevent the new company from being created. Sage has verified it on their system also and the problem has been sent to engineering.

I'm sorry to hear this. I planned on using this feature to convince my Premium clients to upgrade.

Is this just for Premium? I have a customer this morning who is reporting an error stating ""Record * is missing from \\...MAS90\....\SO_SalesOrderHistoryHeader.m4t."" Is this file size related? (Haven't looked yet.) They are 2013 Advanced,

No, not an update. They want to copy for testing a new process.

@ThereseLogeais I think this are unrelated. 2016 was supposed to provide a way to copy SQL companies. Your issue may be file something else.

2 cents - In pvx version although issue of file size limit of 2 GB was officially (finally) dealt with on 4.40, I've heard that when the size of all the file segments are combined and reaches about 16 GB that another pvx limit / maximum gets reached and you can't move further. On the SQL version that would presumbaly never happen because we have SQL tables. However found under the MAS_XXX\MMXXX folder are these pvx data files with ""Work"" in the name such ar AR_DailyPostingWork and AR_SummaryDrillDownWork. Not the same as WRK files. On SQL when a std worktable report is run, instead of creating WRK files with the unique Session ID, it instead creates SQL temp tables in TempDB. So if any of these pvx WORK files on a SQL system encroach 16 GB then ability to create a Copy company could be affected when it hits the large WORK files. That's my preliminary thinking anyway. We'll have to wait and see what Harold and Sage say.
