  • 1.  Sage 100 Payroll question

    Hello

    We want to upgrade a client to 2019 and they used Sage 100 Payroll for part of the year 2019, and do not intend to use it for the rest of the year.

    The new keys that we have for them say that payroll is not included in the key (which is wrong and many times the keys issued by Sage are incorrect and we have to get correct ones).

    My question is if there is a way for us to continue the upgrade without payroll and then upgrade payroll later?

    I have had that happen several times before and then once installed everything seems to work just fine. I believe once I did have to go into System Configuration and update the keys (not change them, just use the update button) and it was fine. It won't stop you from installing or converting though. So worst case scenario in my experience is they would not be able to access data entry tasks and you would have to have Sage generate new keys on Monday. Good Luck!!

    Also, don't forget that Sage Payroll 2.19 is no longer part of the Sage install, you have to download and install it separately.
