  • 1.  Sage 100 needs a "Happy New Year" mode....

    This would be a single checkbox available in system maintenance where for 30 days, a user could not enter a transaction more than one year in the past or more than one year in the future.


    It would override whatever role maintenance is already in place. For users who could usually post years and decades into the future, they would get a pop-up that said "Happy New Year" please enter the override password to let us know you intend to post to 2032.

    As per standard Apple iOS iMessage features, there would also be a GIF of balloons that appear on the user's screen.

    I want it to go away after 30 days  (or some defined period)
    For some reason I can never get customers to agree to: 

    a. Posting restrictions ( which most of them only need the first month of the New Year)
    b. Not prompting for DTR ( Every. Single. One. thinks this is a bug and not a feature)
