  • 1.  Sage 100 integration to Micros and/or Visual

    Apologies if this is a duplicate to an inquiry that you also received. A prospective user in the hospitality industry located in North Carolina with current usage of Visual for their lodging and Micros for their restaurant.

    They're looking at Sage 100 ( moving from Sage Pro) but I suspect the real question is the integration between both of the industry-specific products and Sage 100.

    I think these folks are shoppers but curious if anyone has done an integration between either Visual or Micros.

    We have one hotel/restaurant client using Micros/Opera and importing JEs into Sage 100 GJE via GL Exchange.
    They also have very industry specific financials that are produced in SI.

    Are you talking about Infor's Visual product, or something else?

    I think that it's Infor's program now. 
    So far as I'm aware it's likely a GL only integration and the user is pushing for cost info which is the first clue that they've probably done their homework already and have a preferred supplier and want me to give a free cost comparison.

    If it IS Infor's product, the gl side is easier than Sage.  I've not heard of anyone using it for lodging, so double and triple check.
