Sage 100 integration for Sales tax automation? client has JobOps and wants to talk Sales Tax automation. Avalara? Vertex? (both at summit) Any experiences with Avalara with JobOps?

Vertex is offering free processing through the end of the year..

JobOps would likely have to have create integration points with Vertex. They already have had in place for a number of years the integration with Avalara so I recommend that you go with that package.

Thanks for the feedback. We have had a couple of not so good experiences with Avalara. Maybe they have gotten better. It has been a while.

I agree with Jane on Avalara and the JobOps integration works well. Avalara is the standard for most software packages, and you should complain loudly if you have issues. Many ex-Sage management are there, so we have lots of people to complain to. You can always threaten to boycott their party next year at Summit ?

Sage partners boycotting free booze? Somehow I don't see that happening.

Really, it's the alcohol that keeps us happy and connected .. at least for me!

I'm thinking @JohnHoyt started on the Avalara party early for next year already.
