    All users are unable to print anything out of Sage, including me on the server.  I've been working with Sage much of the day on this.  They analyst had to step out for a while, but  will be back shortly to continue investigation.  I followed KB 17853. Reinstalled wksetup on the server. Copied MAS90 folder to two different workstations.  Copied files and folders from my local 2020 install (Home, MAS_System, SOA); New activate.pvx.  Bupkes.  Any thoughts?  Other things to look at?

    Forgot to mention: renamed Links folder, disabled Paperless. It seems to have something to do with Crystal, but still trying to nail down specifics.

    Advanced?  Does it work in M90 mode?  CSODBC installed.  Running?  Are users configured to use ODBC?  AV settings?  Reboot server?

    Doesn't work in MAS90 mode.  Disabled AV. Rebooted server.  Users are configured for CSODBC - didn't disable it to test. Here's a Windows event viewer log:

    Maybe try installing the full version of Crystal on the server? 
    If it's already installed, try uninstalling, reboot, reinstall?

    Thanks Wayne, tried that.  Didn't work.  Reinstalled wksetup (again).  That didn't work either.  Printing still dead in the water.

    Does the CSODBC service display as "running"?  Have you tried disabling the CSODBC printing to see if users can print?  If so then the issu epoints to the CSODBC print service.

    I've been doing all my testing in MAS90 mode.  I just disabled CSODBC.  Still can't print. :-(

    Sage is recommending uninstalling Sage, starting from scratch w/ ABC.  Test w/ ABC.  Replace with backed up MAS_System & MAs_xxx.  Yikes.  Any other suggestions before resorting to this recommendation?

    Does this happen as soon as you launch a screen related to printing? or does it happen after you click on the PRINT button
    this may sound "out there" but have you looked at the printers on the server? is the default printer valid and working?

    It happens after clicking the PRINT button.  I have Microsoft XPS printer as my default (on the server).

    I don't see if you mentioned this already, but can they preview? if so can they print after previewing? That might point to printer drivers

    1. Any possibility this can come off "Sage Urgent Support" @Robert Wood (sorry if I tagged wrong person )

    2. What happens when you test SOTAMAS90 DNS on the server? KB 66395​

    3. Of possible help if ODBC seems an issue - How to install MAS 90 ODBC Driver without installing Sage 100 client

    If all that's been checked and seems clear then I presume a full version of Crystal Reports can create a report and connect to your data without any errors?

    You can take this off Urgent Support.  The problem is unresolved, but I restored their PU1 data for now.  Alnoor spent time with me yesterday, but we still couldn't get to the source of the problem.  I'll continue working with Sage. Our next thought is to update them to a PU lower than 5.  The reason for updating them is that a possible fix for the problem is in Scanco's PM PU2.

    Could you test the install of the Sage PU, without the ScanCo update, to isolate the issue to one or the other?

    FYI - I worked with both Sage and Alnoor, but the issue stubbornly persisted at PU5.  I restored their PU1, then updated to PU4. Printing is working.
