SAGE 100 ERP Standard version 4.50. I installed the year end IRD on clients system. They finished their year end procedures in the Payroll module. Now four days later I'm trying to install the 2014 Q1 TTU update and I get a SAGE Advisor Plugin error. Did the 2013 Q4 IRD update somehow install the SAGE Advisor program? I thought SAGE Advisor was installed when upgrading to SAGE 100 ERP version 2013. How do I get around this Access Denied Error?

Similar to @PhilMcIntosh's question, do you see the Sage Advisor ""service"" running?

I have sent an email to the client's internal IT staff. My terminal server login ID does not allow me ""see"" the control panel. The real problem could be a ""rights"" issue. However I did not have any problem installing the 2013 Q4 IRD four days before. I will update this thread when I have more information.

If in doubt, always blame it on a rights issue. Usually is 99.99999% of the time....

Turned out to be a ""rights"" issue. Junior IT person had been playing with server lockdown and my login ID was included in his ""test group"". Senior IT person gave me Admin login and I checked for SAGE Advisor Update services and program in Control Panel. Not there. Error message was just a distraction. On to more year-end update installations. Thanks for everyone being here for backup! Have a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
