Believe this is the longstanding NAB that I was thinking of:
Default report setting is not retained and reverts to STANDARD in the General Ledger Detail Report if another user saves the report as public with a new name

The default report setting is not retained and reverts to STANDARD in the General Ledger Detail Report if another user saves the report as public with a new name.
Steps to Duplicate:
In [ABC] company:
Expand Library Master and Main. Double-click Maintain Users.
Create two user IDs and save the changes.
Log on to Sage MAS 90 or 200 with the first user ID created above.
Expand General Ledger and Reports. Double-click General Ledger Detail Report.
Click the Save down arrow and click Save As.
In the Report Setting field, enter a new name.
Select the Default Report check box, and click OK.
Preview the report.
Log on to Sage MAS 90 or 200 with the second user ID created above.
Open the General Ledger Detail Report.
Click the Save down arrow and click Save As.
In the Report Setting field, enter a new name.
In the Type field, select Public (default selection).
Select the Default Report check box, and click OK.
Log on to Sage MAS 90 or 200 again with the first user ID.
Open the General Ledger Detail Report again. Note that the Report Setting field defaults to STANDARD.
Expected Behavior:
The default report setting should be retained.
Possible Workaround:
Select the saved report from the Report Setting lookup.
