Sage 100 ERP Standard, Version 2013, Product Update 5 When going to a report on the Purchase Order Menu (Open Orders By Job Report) and creating a new report setting I am unable to save that report setting as default and have it appear in subsequent use as default. The Standard report continues to appear as default. I seem to recall this being a problem over a few versions which perhaps Sage fixed. Or am I going about the the wrong way? When I view the two report settings (Standard, Saved Report Setting) I can see that the Saved Report Setting does indeed indicate ""Default"" as Yes and Standard indicates ""Default"" as No. Yet exit out of this report and go back in and Standard is once again appearing as default.

I do see this in the Sage KB (only appears in legacy KB sadly) http://infosource.sagesoftwareonline.com/infasp/kdb.asp?isresolutionconceptid=511432 Believe this is the longstanding NAB that I was thinking of: Default report setting is not retained and reverts to STANDARD in the General Ledger Detail Report if another user saves the report as public with a new name Entry Type: Program Issue Product: Sage MAS 90 ERP, Sage MAS 200 ERP Application: General Ledger Version Reported: 4.30.0.13 Status: For current information on this issue, please click the Engineering Status link above. To record the occurrence of this issue, respond Yes to the question, ""Did this answer help you?"" Subject: The default report setting is not retained and reverts to STANDARD in the General Ledger Detail Report if another user saves the report as public with a new name. Steps to Duplicate: In [ABC] company: Expand Library Master and Main. Double-click Maintain Users. Create two user IDs and save the changes. Log on to Sage MAS 90 or 200 with the first user ID created above. Expand General Ledger and Reports. Double-click General Ledger Detail Report. Click the Save down arrow and click Save As. In the Report Setting field, enter a new name. Select the Default Report check box, and click OK. Preview the report. Log on to Sage MAS 90 or 200 with the second user ID created above. Open the General Ledger Detail Report. Click the Save down arrow and click Save As. In the Report Setting field, enter a new name. In the Type field, select Public (default selection). Select the Default Report check box, and click OK. Log on to Sage MAS 90 or 200 again with the first user ID. Open the General Ledger Detail Report again. Note that the Report Setting field defaults to STANDARD. Expected Behavior: The default report setting should be retained. Possible Workaround: Select the saved report from the Report Setting lookup.

I'm having issues with that, too. I've given up on it working as it should. When I want it to be the default it doesn't, and when I don't care, it does.

Had that problem also on customer 2013 system. Works for me using workstation-setup on server, not for their end users. Need to call Sage at some point and resolve this.
