Sage 100 ERP Advanced v4.4.0.4. VI import to AP Invoice data entry. The Invoice date is field 40 as 20131217. Invoice due date is in field 48 as 20140116. Mask is YYYYMMDD. When the data is imprted, the preview job log look fine. After the import, the actual data in Ap Invoice Data Entry shows the correct invoice date as 12/17/2013, however, it shows an incorrect Invoice Due Date of 12/17/2013. The invoice due date should be 1/16/2014. I exported the VI job and imported it to my 4.5.0.0 test environment and it worked fine. browsed through the product updates and don't see anything that would appear relevant. Could this be a corrupt data dictionary? If so how do I fix it? Any other possibilities?

Doug. The terms setup on the vendor are probably overriding your explicit due date.

Brett - The terms in vendor maintenance are net 30.

I'd still vote for terms code issue too. Set the header field terms code for the import and make it file assign from the vendors file and let the system calculate the due date from the terms.

The vendor master is not one of the choices when trying to do a file assign. I don't understand that at all.

Are you assigning the terms code to anything now? If not, don't. And don't set the due date either. Let it calculate.

Great call Brett! There was a terms code field assign = 00 down at the bottom of the field list. Not sure how or why it was there. I took that out and that solved it. Yea. I still don't know why the same VI job worked fine in my version 4.5 test system but didn't work in the 4.4.0.4 live system..... and at this point I don't much care. Muchas Gracias!

HTH - weird that the file wasn't available for assignment, I saw it in my 4.40.0.10, perhaps something changed. @BrettLyder has best idea, let system do the work.

Love hate relationship with the NBF. Less is MORE in many cases, but so much harder to be creative to accommodate the client.....
