    Sage 100 ERP 2014, Seeking ideas on an integrated solution for Service and Dispatching business types. Need ability for techs in field to log time and enter call notes on Ipad or Iphone and have the data captured for Payroll and Job billing? (LIke AbraTimesheet-Payroll Edition or other)

    Field Service & Dispatch Powered by JobOps is an idea. The Technician Dashboard function provides real time access, so techs can enter time, materials and expenses that can then be billed. The time data is there in detail, but there is no direct integration to any Sage payroll system. Would need to do some import routine.

    For Sage 100 ERP Payroll module, if you also have the JobOps Time Tracker module, this will integrate the time entries to Payroll. Nothing for Abra at this point.

    Thank you for the reference and product information. This is good to know. One question on Field Service and Dispatch. Does this piece have mobile capabilities as well? JobOps is a very powerful and intricate application. But in this case, I was kind of hoping there might be something more like - ""a little less"". Thinking they would be better served behind the wheel of ... 'a Honda Civic. I don't think they are quite ready for the ""Masserati JO"" . But please let me know about the mobile capabilities in Field Service and Dispatch.

    Mobile devices for Technician Dashboard: Technician Dashboard operates on a variety of today's mobile devices as well as laptops. My preference is to have some type of tablet and a wi-fi device, so you have enough real estate on the screen to work efficiently. It doesn't have to be 10"", the smaller ones work well. iPhone and Android phones are OK for messages and calls, but not for looking up parts and entering the data. Consider Field Service & Dispatch to be a fully integrated, structured and controlled system. When you are dealing with techs in the field you really want to make sure they only do what they are allowed to, and this facilitates that. I consider the Sage Mobile Service to be closer to the ""Honda Civic"" or more appropriately a Fiat 500. There's not much there. Sage came out with these mobile apps to say they have that in order to compete. Functionally they are extremely basic.

    Oh the Massarati was reference to JobOps. And I would agree to the Fiat reference for the Sage Mobile Apps. Thanks again for the info. Storing for future reference
