Sage 100 ERP 2013 Advanced PU4 - anyone know why I'm getting this database login prompt while trying to preview a GL Detail Report?

Uninstalled and reinstalled - same issue. If I try to proceed I get a Login Failed. Please try again.

Further debugging: Try to create a pure Crystal Report - ""Logon Failed: Details: S0000: [Providex][ODBC Driver][ISAM]Version conflict between the client driver and the server [Database Vendor Code: 6]

Initial resolution: Customer is using Client/Server ODBC Driver (which I have not yet setup)

Now for the dumb question - where does Sage hide the CSODBCService.exe on 2013? It's not in \_appserv\ or do I first have to run this as a service (running as an application now).

To run as an application, you'll find it at ..\MAS90\Home\pvxiosvr.exe. As a service: Select File>Run on the server and enter the fully qualified path to pvxiosvr.exe followed by the -i parameter (e.g. \\]ServerName\Sharepoint\MAS90\Home\pvxiosvr.exe -i).

@WayneSchulz - Had the same question about the csodbc file. After digging into the manual, I discovered that it had been renamed as @BarbaraGoldstein just pointed out. The other issue that I always run into is to make sure the port is open on the server.

Thank you @BarbaraGoldstein and @JeffSchwenk . Extremely helpful since Sage only goes up to 4.5 on their instructions. I'm sure this is buried inside of a getting started guide somewhere but this will save some time.

Mine is on Standard, so no client/server odbc...

I think the issue here was that the CS ODBC was turned on and the service was not running.
