Sage 100

Sage 100 client did a GL segment addition on version 4.4 SP8. They added a third segment, got the prompt to add the segment and they chose the end of the account number. 3 segments are showing in the account structure maintenance. Strange part is that there is a handful of accounts that did not get the 3rd segment added and when trying to enter an account in AP Invoice Data Entry, you can pick an account with the 3rd segment, but it drops the 3rd segment when returned to data entry. There are no error messages being generated. Has anyone ever seen this before? New to me and I didn't find anything in the awesome new Knowledgebase.

Have you tried to manually add the account? If so what happens? Error? Adds but same results?

I had a client with something similar. There had been issues when they created the new segment and somehow ended up with an account that displayed without the segment, but if you looked in DFDM the segment was there in the Raw Account field. Think we were able to renumber, but can't remember for sure.
