  • 1.  Sage 100 and Intelligence Report Manager

    Last Wednesday (4//17), a client ran a financial report using SI. Today when they run the same report or any SI report, they are getting the error - Install MS Excel.

    They are on Sage 100 2015 (5.205.0). The client says he only updated Java and Adobe on his workstation. Any ideas?

    First, go into a blank Excel worksheet and look to see if they have all 3 Excel add-ins - BI Generator and 2 Report Designer Add-ins. Clicks to get to Excel Add-ins varies by version but Add-ins are usually under Options. If BI Generator is not there (or all 3 missing) re-install workstation with UAC set to minimum. If the 2 Report Designer Add-ins are missing, they can be manually added.

    Joe we did check Excel for the Add-ins and they were there. The client uninstalled Office and reinstalled and that fixed the issue.  Thanks!
