Sage 100 Advanced, v4.5 on Terminal Server. We've had 2 customers experience the ""CS Workstation Activation 1 user limit exceeded."" error. One was yesterday AM and the other was this AM. Replacing the activate.pvx file on the terminal server with the one from the MAS server fixed the problem. The file on the terminal server is older than the correct one from the ERP server. We are puzzled as to what is causing this, and what strategy we can use to prevent it in the future. We suspect it is tied to automatic Windows updates applied overnight, but we're not sure. And besides, why would that trigger this? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had a time where my sota.ini file kept getting trashed and never did figure out why. And it just stopped. Which isn't any help at all.
