    Sage 100 Advanced v2017.1 - just finishing an upgrade where the users hoped that sporadic task windows closing (Sage KB 64852 ) would go away. Unfortunately it still seems to be happening. I've sat with IT on excluding file extensions (Sage 45806), tried all the suggestions in Sage 64852 pertaining to random tasks closing in Sage 100 Advanced (rename the SY_Console, SY_Workstation). Any other ideas? I would open a case with Sage but what's the use when all they do is ask if you can reproduce the issue at will and suggest calling back when you can show the error?

    Is there anything in the Activity Log? Are you sure they aren't having other network connectivity issues?

    Nothing in the log. Just spoke to one person that has it happening and they mention Outlook did this before .... so I'm thinking network something or other.

    The key thing to note if it's network related is to ask them when it happens does the Launcher itself (the Business Desktop) stay open when the other tasks disappear. Also do all the other tasks disappear or just a certain one. Point is Launcher runs locally on Adv / Premium. Also if it happens after the workstation has been left idle for some period of time some of the old traditional reasons for this are power saver settings and short DHCP lease settings.

    Anything become of this? 2017.3 Advanced customer is complaining of disappearing windows on a PC (just Sage), and I'm able to duplicate on file server (although not always). It's hit and miss... PC will work fine for a few days, then windows start disappearing every few seconds (regardless of task). In all cases, Sage launcher stays open... only the tasks disappear. No errors on screen or in any of the Windows logs. Sage is clueless. MAS90 mode, all is OK. No change when running Sage application vs. service.

    Nothing new to share - it was very sporadic and they went through the typical checking of power saving on NIC and some other assorted things that either showed in the KB or they found in random Google search
