    Sage 100 Advanced v2013 SU 5 From the RDP Server I'm getting the message 'Unable to connect so Server: ""SERVER"". The server cannot be found. Can ping server from this server. have turned off AV and Windows firewall on both RDP and app server. Have renamed the four PVK files. Went back to the clean Install on the app server. Also, changed the port and still get this error. Can run in MAS90 mode and can connect to the host from the app server itself. Any other ideas would be appreciated. TIA

    I had this the other day. Make sure the right port is in the workstation Start icon and in the SOTA.INI

    If I go to the apps server and change the port on the workstation start icon so that it is wrong I get a different error. 'Unable to connect to server. the server ""SERVER"" is reachable, but it is not accepting requests on the TCP/IP Socket given'. So this error seems to happening apart from the issue of which port is used?

    This was a Server 2012 RDP server with Symantec Endpoint loaded. IT had to open port 9500 in Symantec Endpoint Protection and it solved the issue.
