Sage 100 Advanced, v 4.4 PU5. I'm having an issue where legacy reports (the job cost daily overhead allocation register and daily job transaction register) are prompting for the PDF location even though it is set properly in journal and register maintenance. The AP invoice register prints properly and if I enter an invoice without a job number, the daily transaction register will print fine. It is when the lovely JC legacy report gets thrown in the mix that it bombs out. Journals & registers were set up for all companies, all documents but I have also tried separating out the job cost module with no luck. This worked fine previously for this client, but after a server move (fresh install, migrated data) we are having the issue. Version 4.4, PU5. Also tested on server with same results.

With a fresh server I'm curious about user rights on the location where the data is being saved. Is that on the same server as Sage 100 Advanced? I also have notes on the prompt for location which may or may not apply here: Version(s): 4.3 Problem / Description: When using paperless office you may be prompted for a location to save the pdf Resolution: Check the port for the Sage PDF Printer. Make sure it's not set to LPT1 or NULL. In most cases create a new local port called ""Sage"" and print to that. If that doesn't work try re-running workstation setup (if you're on 4.3 remember there's a program patch to enable paperless functionality with 64 bit os) For v4.4 you need this patch: http://support.sagesoftwareonline.com/mas/query/index.cfm?action=tipdetail&tip_id=1847 For 4.3 you need this patch: http://support.sagesoftwareonline.com/mas/query/index.cfm?action=tipdetail&tip_id=1846

Is the folder where paperless is storing the documents on the MAS server? I think I ran into a similar issue and the solution was to move the paperless destination to the MAS server.
