  • 1.  Sage 100 Advanced settings to optimize running as a service

    I'm in an "in-between" situation trying to take off my old Sage ERP consultant hat and keep on my DataSelf BI hat.
    We have a DataSelf client using Sage 100 2018 Advanced, and they are running it as an app because of the resource issues.
    The customer actually stated he wished the service configuration would work, since he preferred that.

    Is the info on configuring the heap sizes, etc public knowledge that I can forward to the client, or is that 90minds specific knowledge? 

    I don't know who the Sage reseller is, and I don't want to step on any toes. But I'd like to help the customer.
    If it's not public knowledge, I'll just steer him to his reseller.

    I like 3072 as the third value. That heap size has worked well for our customers.

    I send customer IT a PDF of the Sage KB article, and let them deal with it.
