  • 1.  Sage 100 Advanced Installs when Sage 100 Standard is chosen

    We had a technician installing Sage 100 Standard 2019 on a new server and after selecting Sage 100 Standard he installed Sage 100 Advanced.  Whether the selection was correct or not is relatively moot at this point, but after "uninstalling" services were left, so they were removed from the registry and the remaining files were deleted.  Still no matter what option is chosen, Sage 100 Advanced installs.

    Sage 100 installs wrong version

    We can throw away the server and start fresh, but this seems to be an opportunity to understand what else Sage installs and does not uninstall (sage 100 Application engine service and Sage Advisor Update.

    It installs based on the unlock key you use. There isn't a different installer for each version. I have no idea why they show three different choices other than to show that the same install can be used for all three but no reason to duplicate all the choices.
