Sage 100 Advanced hosting New customer has a friend who started a hosting company. By the sounds of the tech people, I may be their first customer. They set me up to install Sage 100 Advanced 2013 on a virtual server's mapped drive S. The install neither recognizes the S drive nor the URL path to the S drive. The only drive available is the C:\ drive. Now all of the sudden, this has become my problem because ""Sage is so archaic that it doesn't recognize mapped drives."" The hosting company is asking, ""What is Sage's issue?"" Does anyone have a clue how to work around this?

Change hosting companies. I'm totally serious.

I agree with Wayne. This does not sound like a company that's going to make it.

Didn't Wayne post a thing about how you have to install 2013 from the server? Maybe that has something to do with it? Has anyone tried installing it yet to a mapped drive?

I ran into this a couple years back. Took me a couple weeks to figure out that the server I was installing to was a virtual one. Once I had them through in the DVD and accessed it, life was good.

Unfortunately changing hosting companies is not an option. What we ended up doing was installing Sage 100 Adv on the Virtual C:\ drive. Then using the Change Data Location utility, we are going to attempt to relocate the data using a URL path to what is the S:\ drive
