  • 1.  Sage 100 Advanced Host Service

    Version 2019 - IT had to reboot the new server yesterday afternoon to install some software and the Sage 100 Cloud Advanced service didn't start automatically after the reboot even though the startup setting is automatic.  What might cause that?

    There should be a clue in the Windows Event Viewer.

    I've seen where the service doesn't restart if windows updates are being installed as part of the reboot.  I've had some success in changing the property to "Automatic – Delayed"  but even that has not been 100% reliable.

    I, too have had success with using 'Automatic (Delayed Start)', which seems to be needed more and more as of recent.
