Does anyone know what browser settings need to be adjusted to allow the Information Center and Help files to appear in the users desktop?

The screen only displays the message: Navigation to the webpage was canceled

    • KB 94793 Hope this helps.  There's also the users rights to the location where certain files are located...that one follows
    • Add Sage help page to Trusted Sites
      1. Select Start menu
      2. Type: inetcpl.cpl
      3. Select Security tab, Trusted Sites, Sites
      4. Type or Paste the following site into 'Add this website to the zone:' field:
        http://help-sage100.na.sage.com/2018/FLOR/Content/HomePage/Welcome.htm\
NOTE: uncheck 'Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone'
      5. Select Clse
      6. Exit Internet Properties

    <content>

Access the Help system for procedures involving daily processing, detailed information and entry samples for fields, flowcharts for complex concepts, and FAQs and Troubleshooting information.

    • Compiled Help or Help Topics:
      • From the Sage 100 ERP Desktop, click Help
      • Select Help Topics
      • Select one of the three tabs:
        • Contents - Arranged like a Table of Contents
          • Module Help - Lists each module and associated Help content for that module.
        • Index - Arranged like an Index at the back of a book
        • Search - Search by key word
    • From within a task:
      1. Access a particular task window within Sage 100 ERP
        • Example: Open Accounts Receivable, Main menu, Customer Maintenance
        • Example: Open Purchase Order, Inquiry menu, Receipt History Inquiry
      2. Click the cursor focus on a field and press the F1 key
        • Example: Click in a blank text entry box to the right of a field description
      3. Or, Click the Help "?" (question mark icon) button in the lower rights area of the task window

Note: As of Sage 100 ERP (formerly Sage MAS 90 or 200) version 4.00, all content previously available in user manuals (whether printed in book form or in Adobe Acrobat PDF) have now been integrated for ease of access within the Sage 100 ERP Help System instead.

Note: Help is stored in Microsoft Compiled Help (*.CHM) file format. There are also Acrobat (*.PDF) manual files. The files are stored in:

    • For 32-bit operating systems: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sage\Common Components\Help\<version>
      • Example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sage\Common Components\Help\4.50\ap.chm
      • Example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sage\Common Components\Help\4.50\Accounts_Payable_Overview_Document.pdf
    • For 64-bit operating systems: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components\Help\<version>
      • Example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Common Components\Help\5.20\so.chm
      • Example: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Sage\Common Components\Help\4.50\Sales_Order_Overview_Document.pdf
