Sage 100

Sage 100 Advanced 4.5. Trying to install workstation on a remote connection terminal services. The install starts and runs but never completes. It just hangs there. Any ideas why?

Rights? Are you running it in Administrative mode or or Standard TS?

Do you still have to put a TS into 'install mode'?

It's server 2008. I told them to try the ""/admin"" and rerun the setup. From what I can find the install mode is no longer necessary in 2008.

There is no more install mode in 2008. Run as administrator typically works. Part of permissions may be who started the console session. What user is running the services (typically most customers just use administrator, but... never assume).

I have seen with 2008 TS that you may need to go to a command prompt and change user to the install user. That has worked for me.
