Sage 100 Advanced 2014 PU 4 - customer reports users randomly disconnecting from Sage 100 ""since about a week ago"" - Walked through the myriad of rename SY_SYSTEM (SY_CONSOLE, SY_WORKSTAITON) and _APPSERVE (LOCATE and SESSIONS) files - Naturally, no way on earth it's AV , malware (per IT) - No error messages whatsoever ""connection just drops them out of Sage 100"" - Nothing in the Activity Log Thoughts? I'm in the process of pulling a case with Sage since this may be a lengthy info gathering road to travel

And when they click to log in again, does it take them in without prompting them for User ID and Password?

They say it just drops them to the desktop. I checked initially and did not see any ""Spawn Tasks from Application Server"" but the second time through almost all their users have that box checked. I unchecked the box and will keep watch to see if that helps. So far as I've been told they don't see any error message.

Since IT is available, put them to work... are the networking switches reporting any errors, lost packets and the like

I believe what worked for our client was: Switched Data Execution Prevention to be for only essential windows programs. Let us know what you figure out.

I pulled a Sage case and have urged them to work directly with Sage. The vast majority of these ""it has to be Sage"" turn out to be issues with he network and I'm tiring of the ""prove its my network"" game. The customer is paying Sage for maintenance and support so let Sage spend three hours going through the laundry list of possible network issues while IT denies each and every one.

My ""stop loss"" on these is pulling a Sage case. Once that happens I consider it Sage's problem.
