    Sage 100 Adv. v 2013 XP Pro Workstation won't finish sync script on initial start up. Followed the file associate in this https://90minds-com.socialcast.com/groups/18801-sage100urgentsupportneeded, but now have the following message: There is no script engine for file extension "".vbs"".

    Fixed it by the following (not sure if you need to do all these steps, it may be just registry edit) run command prompt cscript.exe //H:WScript run command prompt Regsvr32 vbscript.dll Run Regedit Select .vbs under HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT Change the value for (Default) to ""VBSFile

    The work around I have used is just tell the client that XP isn't supported and they should get a newer workstation....

    True, true @JeffSchwenk but sometimes they turn pleading eyes on you and beg, promising to get a new workstation soon
