Sage 100 4.50.05 - moved Sage 100 to a new server yesterday. Paperless had been working, but we have the following strange behavior on one workstation: PO printing works fine if you quick print. It also works fine if you use purchase order printing and select a particular order or range of orders. However, if you use purchase order printing and hit print (to print all unprinted orders), it prints the paper copies fine (customer uses the Print/PDF all option), but the PDF round hangs. I have checked all the printer port and security stuff, and the paperless folder security is set to everyone full control. Any ideas?

See if you get any better behavior with just PDF (no paper). It sounds like either a PDF driver problem on the workstation or a timeout issue. Does Event Vewer have anything helpful in it (check both server and workstation).

What OS? Is it the workstation or the user? How about the Paperless path. I always use a UNC.

@JerryNorman - PDF only same results @JeffSchwenk - windows 7 - there are only 2 users on the system, and only one does the POs. It was working on her machine before the server move. Paperless path is UNC.

A complete uninstall/reinstall of WKsetup? Did the server OS change?

Server"" OS changed from XP to windows 7. Not sure if wksetup was uninstalled or just reinstalled, but I did have to reset the port to Sage and change the security. I do not understand why it works if you specifically select an order but not if you let PO printing select the order. BTW, the customer does purge their POs regularly - it is not a large file.

Could there be a rogue PO at the end or beginning that is locking it up?

The paper copies print, so the data is OK.

It works fine if you print POs from Quick Print or by selecting specific POs in PO printing. It only hangs if you use PO printing with the defaults, which is all unprinted orders. It prints the paper copies fine, then hangs on the PDF print run.

Is a sort file involved in printing POs?
